Good evening, Big Brother Lovers! We're baaaa-aaack!
Just an hour to go before the live show, and we'll be here doing the live show spoiler, as always, but before we get started on that... C-Venus needs our help. She's doing a 7 deadly sins series on these HGs, She's got 5 down, 2 to go, but she's stumped for Dan, Renny and Memphis - Sloth & Gluttony just don't apply.
- Can you ask your Dishfans to give me suggestions
for Renny, Dan and Memphis? Like what is the
POLAR opposite of the seven deadly sins? Something
like 3 acts of goodness - lol! And what would their
attributes be? Humility, Kindness, etc.?

I would go with gluttony for Renny, only because she is always in the kitchen cooking.
Sloth for Memphis. He's a mixologist, so he probably sleeps in every day.
Sloth indicates laziness if my memory serves me correctly, so how about Memphis with all of his sleeping. It might be a stretch of sorts, but that's all I've got here. Keep up the great work to everyone by the way.

I couldn't help but notice that LIVE spelled backwards is E-V-I-L. It may not always prevail, but in the BB house it's always in play.

which will pretty much describe the rest of the season if April or Jerry win HOH tonight.
By the way, I am SO NOT liking football today.
Earlier today I was thinking about the lack of anomaly in BB where the HG's are concerned. In particular, religion.
It seems that virtually every season the people responsible for casting the show seem angled toward depicting the Christian faith, and ensuring that at least one member of the cast has Christian beliefs. But, there are so many religions in the world.
Why do they not show more variety in this area? Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu, and so on?
Season after season the cast seems to be made up almost entirely of white, *christian* people. I am aware that people of other nationalities, ethnicities, religion persuasions, color, etc. have been depicted in the overall make-up of the casts, but.....
I can't help but wonder what the season would be like; and, how the cast members would play the game if there was people who made up and represented: Straight/gay, muslim/jewish/christian/hindu/buddhist/atheist, liberal/conservative/communist, white/black/hispanic/asian/middle eastern, male/female/transgendered, etc.
I realize that would be incredibly difficult to cast, as they would also have to try their best to ensure that the cast members would potentially be entertaining in the house, but I would personally find that ESPECIALLY interesting. It would be interesting to see all of these differences represented in the cast in a single season.
Especially in terms of how people may choose to set aside differences for alliance's sake, to wheel and deal, and what they would all be willing to do to win half a million dollars.
Not that I have never found the game fun and mesmerizing to watch the way that it has been cast now or in the past, but, simply *ratchet* it up even more. Make the HG's as different as possible, reflecting the true make-up of the country, and albeit, the world as it is now.
Anyway, it was something I was thinking about earlier today.

Ok, I'm not sure I get what you want but here's my list...
Dan - serene, tranquil, sensitive
Renny - amusing, burlesque, outlandish
Memphis - mysterious, clandestine
These aren't really sins, but I couldn't think of anything that fits.
Memphis-doesn't the calm before the storm sometimes turn into a tornado. He's the most laid back guy I've ever seen who can threaten to rip an old man's head off and do 'you know what' down his neck.
Renny-raunchy, roaring, rediculous sense of humor that could make a weaker man blush.
Dan-modesty, humility, the kind of man that could blush at a weak sense of humor.
Come to think of it, after the last 2 seasons, modesty may be considered a sin in the BB house.

Blue, I agree with putting in HG with a variety of diversity. The only one that I can think of that would come close to fitting that would have been Kaysar, he had different religion, but never used it in the game. Loved him and how he played the game.
Sometimes I wonder if they just can't get certain type of people in that house, the saner (smile). Just my thoughts!!

Thank you Msfitz, I appreciate all the support you all give. You all don't realize how much it really means! As the day gets closer, I get more nervous. Just keeping my mind on the BB house and this blog community helps a lot.

Since Dan was America's Player, the definiton of this mans Sloth could very well suit him (not by choice)
Sloth is full of excuses, and they are often quite remarkable excuses. For example, being an expert in the area of sloth has its advantages. One of the best things about being good at the sin of sloth is that you are really too lazy to even bother with the other sins. Thus the slothful person is already far ahead on the road to holiness. Other people get busy with sinning in so many different ways, but the slothful person, the lazy man, won’t fall victim to all those sins which require effort. Therefore, in order to advance my personal holiness and get rid of other sins in my life, I’m going to focus on being slothful. Because, you see, if I am slothful, then at least I’m not going to commit any of the other 7 deadly sins.

Earlier today, April complaining to Michelle because Keesha asked where the trash bags were kept:
"That just goes to show that Keesha has never taken the trash out or she would know where they are. It's just so disrespectful the way some people never help clean around here."
My thought: For the love of God April, without all that cleaning to do how would you keep your OCD occupied. See, Keesha really is your friend.
