Michelle & Dan
Dan asked Michelle her political views. She gave all, and when she asked for the same in return, he said he was undecided. When Michelle pushed, he said a big issue for him was abortion. Listening to Michelle talk to him now, very calm and very firm in her beliefs, is impressive.
Michelle doesn't question that he's undecided and she's taking the opportunity to try to stump for the left, based on the economy, social issues and a number of other things... Interesting. She wants him to broaden his vote beyond the abortion issue.
She's engaging him in a very sincere conversation, and he's allowing it, although his views are more than concrete.
Dan & Michelle stick to politics for 20 minutes, then they move on to game talk. Michelle tells Dan it bothers her that "someone" (Libra) in the game has so much and travels so much... Michelle's wondering if he thinks she has a chance for the vote of the jury member who gets sent home this week... if she'll respect her as a strong player in the game... She's specifically referring to Libra.

Michelle just went straight from her conversation with Dan into the 50s room with them. The talk is all about the next HoH comp.
April: You can't prepare for that sh*t. you think you can, then...
Talk turns to Libra. Michelle tells them how even Renny is being short with her now. Michelle's on a mission to secure votes for Libra's ouster tonight. She gets back on the track of wondering if she'll have Libra's vote from the jury house...
They start talking about Libra having "crazy eyes" at the dining table. APril agrees, said she saw it, and that she should have sent her out last week.
Michelle: I wish I woulda used the Power of Veto. The whole game woulda been different. The whole game. But then I probably woulda been out the next week.
Ollie: I don't think anyone would've been angry with you.
Michelle recalls Steven pleading with her to use it on him...
April turns it back to Keesha, and reminds Michelle that she's in good with Dan and Memphis and Renny.
Michelle leaves the room. April whispers to Ollie about Libra getting blamed for everything Keesha has done in the game.
Michelle returns a minute later, at 7:58pm BBT. Talk turns to game and twists and double evictions. April believes next week will be the beginning of a double eviction week.
Jerry joins in and they all expound upon their twist theories...

Michelle leaves, and Jerry takes the opportunity to tell April and Ollie that he heard Keesha tell Memphis today that if they're one and 2, they wanna go to Tahoe to celebrate.
Jerry: If one of us wins HoH, we have to put the 2 of them up.
Ollie: I say, why wait? (hinting at voting Keesha out, which completely sails over Jerry's head)
Ollie and April put it out there to Jerry. They want to vote Keesha out this week, and they want his support, and they want him to not say a word to Michelle about it. They impress upon Jerry that Libra will have no one, where Keesha has a strong alliance already, and if any of Keesha's alliance win, they'll be coming after them.
Jerry: What have we got to lose?
Jerry tells them to get Libra to talk to Dan about it...

Hello Carolyn!! Hello Reporter X! Hello all of you wonderful, insightful, entertaining commenters!! Happy Monday! ;-)
The goings on in the house over the last few days have been running through my head during spare moments. Even as I fell asleep last night, I was thinking that I'd like to compose a letter to each of the houseguests, and be allowed to read it to them when they exit the house. I almost convinced myself to take the time to compose such letters and post them here, but alas, I've no time for that. So I'm going to summarize my feelings more conventionally. And yes, I admit that I’m concentrating on negatives here. It is a rant after all.
APRIL strains my belief that everyone must have at least some sort of redeeming quality. Truly, she is physically hideous to me, and it's all a result and reflection of her inner workings. Her face is almost constantly contorted into a thin, tight, pale, hate-filled scowl of a Halloween mask, and her gaze reminds me of a pair of eyes peering out of the depths of hell in some horror movie. I'm well aware of the fact that people don't get this way without being drastically damaged somewhere along the way...yet I can't feel an ounce of sympathy for her. We've all got baggage--some more than others--and how we deal with that baggage is up to us. April's choices consistently make me want to vomit. And really, it's hard to feel sorry for someone when their behavior induces violent full-body heaving gags.
MEMPHIS is steadily growing on me as a player. He's not someone I'd be interested in knowing in real life, but he's shrewd and low-key and intelligent enough to be very effective in the game. And admittedly more important for me, he's avoided doing anything that invokes a strongly negative gut reaction.
MICHELLE is difficult to write about. Not because I don't know how I feel about her, but because I'm not really sure that I can put it into non-offensive language. So I'll just apologize in advance to anyone here who's offended and say it: Any redeeming qualities that Michelle possesses are, for me, easily overridden by the fact that her behavior is about as close as one can come to being a textbook example of low-class (in all senses of the word) trashiness. She reminds me of some members of my own very large extended family, and I'd be just as mortified to see any of them on television as I am sure that some members of Michelle's family are. The foul mouth is easy for me to live with--it's the foul mind, the capriciousness, the lack of rationality, the impulsive pleasure-seeking, and the bitter vindictiveness, all combined with an undeveloped middling level of intelligence that make her anathema to me. And all that spite and bile over her “man” Jessie’s eviction? Please. She’s obviously far more used to using her mouth and her fists than her brain.
RENNY is--do I really need to say it?--among my favorites. She's one of the only houseguests I think I'd love to have a meal and some beer or wine with in real life--for all the reasons that Carolyn has covered in her posts. I could make this as long as my negative rants about the others, but I don't think I need to. Renny is certainly human and therefore imperfect, but I think she's also largely immune to being disliked by rational folks at this point.
JERRY is truly a repellent human being. His behavior is nauseating for sure, but I believe that his behavior is a reflection of who he truly is. I know that some have wondered whether he behaves this way because he is trying to fit in, but I say that you can't fake this particular funk. And frankly, I don't care if he's 20 or 120 years old--the thoughts that come out of his mind and find a way to his mouth are so universally loathsome that even someone with no social experience to speak of should know better. In my ideal Big Brother universe, all of the houseguests would keep Jerry in the house, but would never, ever physically touch him or look at him, and would only address him in the most distant, polite terms when absolutely necessary for purposes of the game. In other words, they would keep him in the house for the remaining weeks, but would treat him like a complete non-entity, unworthy of even the bare minimum of acknowledgement, even when he speaks directly to someone. And they'd continue to ignore him completely right through the cast party and beyond.
DAN is easily my other favorite in the house. The guy is smart, entertaining, and seems to be a genuinely good person. Since the other houseguests so strongly suspect him of being America’s Player, I can’t understand why they haven’t considered the idea that the vote would not have been his choice if their conviction is true. In any case, the longer Dan sticks around the more fun the feeds and the show will be to watch.
KEESHA irks me. Not a lot, but enough. I could list a lot of reasons (mostly nitpicky ones) but what it comes down to is that she rubs me the wrong way. I know, I know--she’s all sweetness and light outside of the house, but being stuck in this horrible situation just makes her behave in a way that she never, ever would behave outside of the house. Riiiiiiiiight.
OLLIE would be less annoying to watch without April around. But hey, I’m being pretty negative overall, so I’ll just say something nice about Ollie for a change and move on. Here goes: His wallflower personality makes him one of the least overtly obnoxious spineless bigots I’ve encountered on Big Brother. Yes, I know I’m being generous. That’s just how I am.
LIBRA is the opposite of Keesha to me, in that I like her just because. She’s going home, and it’s arguable that she deserves her fate, but sometimes I actually like her particular style of abrasiveness. I know I’m one of a small number of folks who feel this way, but I’ll be sorry to see her go.
So that’s what I’ve been thinking lately, for whatever it’s worth. I realize that we all watch Big Brother for the drama, and that the situation in the house is designed to create it. But I can’t help going with my gut emotional response; I’d like Dan and Renny best even if they weren’t playing the game very well. As for the rest, including Libra: I’d far prefer to spend time with all of you than with any of them.
So this is the Making it to the Jury House feast. Forgot about that one that they do every season. Then I saw the faces cake and remembered it.
Is April not drinking tonight? I see wine in front of Kessha, or at least a wine glass.
I'm having sound issues though. I can't hear them talking, at least on quad. anyone else?
Blue, batteries? That would be for those alligator clips I keep in my back pocket. SHOCKING Huh? ;)

Jerry's POV speech was so out of line and April made me want to puke when she said no one deserved the designer clothes more than she. I was very relieved to hear Jerry say in the DR that he would forgive Dan if he is AP. That made me not dislike him so much, but he and April and Ollie are still on my wish list to go home.
I think what really started WW3.2 were the words "let's go around the table and say something..."
Never a good start, never. Kind of on the same level of "hey, watch this".
Add alcohol into those scenarios and you're bound to get a good show.

And Jerry's PoV speech? Don't even get me started. We all know that was about one TENTH of what he really said. And we didn't have to see it, we have been able to piece it together from the other HG's reaction on the live feeds.

Michelle's comment about how she was raised with a potty mouth and it is "normal". I have found that people who learn English as a second language are not taught how bad some words are...this is normally taught by the parents. They use curse words like every other word without knowing it's impact on others.

The conversation is making me like Dan even more than I already did. I know he's a c..c..co.. conservative, and we disagree on so many issues, but he is intelligent about it and obviously has mixed views which oppose his 'label.'

In regards to your earlier post about Libra kidding about Kessha wanting the outfits,......I dont think so.
Just as soon as she was done saying it at the table, she pulled Ollie into the SR, broke down, turned on Keesha and told him the same thing.
She said something like....tell April Keesha just wants some designer clothes. She was dead serious. She was trying to flip the script,(I dont blame her for that), but she did say it again, this time without any confusion of "just kidding".

We are of the same mind, and I certainly couldn't have said it better (although I still have a soft spot for Keesha).
As for April, I'm thinking that she might be talented in the bedroom -- or the HOH room, the spa, the kitchen, or wherever else she has yet to get it on national television. I suppose this could be construed by some as a "redeeming quality." To me, it is simply another ghastly manifestation of, as you put it, her physical hideousness. I love that!

To me, Renny is one of the all-time greatest BB HG's. I also love Dan, and can't wait for him to put the curmudgeon Jerry in his place - that is, out of the BB house.
Dan's just too sweet and very sheltered. He doesn't know what "Riding Dirty" means. Michelle's version (driving without insurance) is viable, but I'm not all that sure that's what it means either.

The other night, I was showing my fiancee video of April & Ollie (he didn't believe me). The sheet they had "over" them slipped off right towards the end and only covered the top half of Ollie's body. I was in SHOCK. I mean its one thing to see the movement under the sheets but this was FULL on - you could see everything but Ollie's face. How embarassing! Then they both laughed about it "we gave the producers a good show". I feel HORRIBLE for their parents, especially Ollie's father. Disgusting!

Jane ~ I believe that April is not liked by the TV Only's. Keesha has been made as a pretty big, positive force by the show and April has cursed her out and tried to make her and Libra be the negative, horrible people in this whole ordeal. I think April is lost like a ship at sea. Oh well!

I talked about it before and it seems that the Keep Libra plan may be in play. Can the bitter bunch convince Michelle to vote out Keesha when the vote is tied? I think the funniest thing about these three planning for what they will do when they get HOH is that out of them April probably is the only one who might win it. Wow! I have gathered that April (and therefore Ollie) might actually prefer Keesha leaving this week, but I really didn't think they had the guts to tell Jerry or Dan or risk double crossing Michelle (as we all know she will not sleep until she gets vengeance). I so hope Jerry (who didn't use the POV when he wanted to so as to keep his word with Michelle - and made a huge point of him keeping his word to Michelle in his POV speech) or Dan (who is trying hard to get on Michelle's good side this week and knows who Michelle wants out) goes straight to Michelle and tells her. I hope they are good enough to keep it a secret from April and Ollie and they are the only two that vote Keesha. Then all hell will break loose next week with the whole house trying to get out April and Ollie. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

OMG Carolyn, you left me out AGAIN!? I'm starting to feel very dejected.
I'm going to watch Olympic beach volleyball, I just can't stand looking at or listening to Jerry, April, and Ollie any more.
I am usually addicted to the feeds, but they are ruining the game. they are not houseguests you love to hate, I see nothing redeeming in Jerry or April, they just leave a bad taste in his mouth. Without April, Ollie might improve but he has been so contaminated by her. She is so contagious that people act like her by exposure. I couldn't breathe the same air for fear of catching IT!
They just make me want the season to end sooner. I enjoy the other hgs and they have plenty of potential for conflict especially if one of them get HOH. The Ollie and April sex show is sooooo old its boooorrring!
I really think libra has not gotten a fair shake, but this game is never fair. She is a strong beautiful woman with a great sense of humor. If April thinks Libra has crazy eyes she needs to look in the mirror. I love the way Libra's eyes express her moods and reactions.April's make me want to go hide. the times I have seen really negative behavior out of her and Keesha it always somehow goes back to April, whether it is or is not alcohol enhanced.

He told her at 9BBT she would get 2 clues and have thirty minutes to find it. He threatened if she didn't find it in time it was his. I hope they remember. It's getting really kind of boring tonight.

Did I miss a post somewhere and miss a live feed conversation? I want to like Renny but I was one of those left behind in Katrina. I didn't have a way to get out and knew it would be bad, but it wasn't the storm, it was the levee break. We survived the storm and actually had very little flooding where we lived at the time, just off St. Charles and First St. I want to know what she said now. I'm very disappointed.

Remember in high school-the popular kids were too busy being cool and keeping up their image. They never wanted to get dirty on the playground. Meanwhile, since the popular kids were such an elite group there were always more kids who were NOT popular. But those kids were always on the playground laughing and getting dirty and having one heck of a good time.
That's the best description I can think of for this group. Once again, April and her small elite group sit around complaining about how the less popular people in the house are always ruining everything.

ok if Jerry is serious about possibly voting out Keesha he is going to looking like the BIGGEST hypocrite in the whole history of Big Brother. Plus April and Ollie were sooo pissed about Libra and Keesha going behind their back and voting out Jessie and now they are going to do the exact same thing to Michelle? OK it is my turn.
Yes Keesha's laugh is extremely annoying, but that is her voice. She masterminded the mutiny to rid the house of Jessie and has gotten away with it so far. I think she genuinely tries to get along with every one. Just because she started talking to Libra again does not mean they are buddy buddy.
Dan is just a fun loving crazy guy. He tries to see good in all. He is a positive person.
Renny is someone wants to have fun. She knows life is short and you get out of it what you put into it. She knows that life is what you do with it, now just what experiences you have endured. How you react to adversity, how you let adversity change you, and what you do in this world is what makes up the character of a person.
Libra, you took a chance. Is it something I would have done, no. But I don't know your situation, I haven't walked in your shoes. You are very outspoken and willing to stand up for what you believe in and for yourself. In most of lives situations that is good. But in the BB house that is not always a good thing. Concentrate on your husband and your kids. Do what you have to for them. For that is what is important.
Memphis, you have a past experience that has clouded your life. You can let that hinder you or you can make things better. Don't judge everyone using those guidelines. Remember that everyone has faults even yourself.
Michelle honey that one upmanship can hurt you. Yes helping others get their true feeling out is good, but sometimes it is better to just let it go. Stay true to yourself, don't worry about whether someone else has lied. Even if they have lied to you. Try to continue to trust to some degree, and never let anyone else make you feel any less. But also remember it is not always about you. The world is not dumping on you.
I am a little worried about Ollie. During some events you seem to have it all together. At other times you are being led by the nose by a pair of boobs. And I mean that literally. There are addictions of all kinds and any addiction can lead to a world of trouble.
Jerry, why have you forgotten some of the lessons you have learned. You have lived through many things. You have learned what is important in life (family). But friendships are important too. Even those that sometimes let you down. Have you never let someone down? Have you never disappointed someone? Have you lived a perfect life? They why do you expect others to be perfect? Get off your high horse and remember what it is like to be human.
April, I saved you for last. You fought hard to be were you are. You deserve the credit for that, but did you carve your features? Did you decide what color your skin would be? Beauty is more than what is on the outside. The outside will not last long. Don't pump yourself up higher than you actually deserve. Humbleness is a great quality also. Remember that every one is not there to bow down to you and do your bidding. Anger turns beauty into ugliness quicker than gravity.
There it is, my humble opinion. I know some may not agree, but that is o.k.
On a lighter note: If April were to put on the green mask that the others had on one day, wouldn't she look just like the wicked witch of the west?

Carolyn, I have suspected such all along. Probably a higher roller than all of us put together. You have to moderate comments. Having been in such a position I know what it can do to the eyes, not to mention the blood pressure.
I hope no one else wants green eyes, I've bought every bag I could find on eBay and waiting on back orders from some other places. Green is my real eye color.

I trying to figure out who April reminded me of, based on past houseguests. The holier than thou attitude, and using others (Ollie and Jerry), and getting away with it - Maggie from BB6. I don't see April as a pretty/cute girl as she has an ugly inside. Maggie won the whole game - based on her little group thinking she was the best person, Yvette really trusted her (now Ollie). I think I got that impression after reading Beorn's missive.

I know there are many many fans, and many of you here are among them, but to me it is the most stupid and wasteful sport, if you really can even call it a sport.
I cringe every time I think about how much of our limited supply of fuel is these days. And to think about what it is doing for the greenhouse effect. I'm no expert on either, but I researched nascar racing and found the average race uses a total of 5,000 gallons of fuel.
I'll stop that rant now and prepare for the bashing, which I can easily take and smile, don't worry.
I'm not a tree hugger, but I do worry about what we are leaving for our (your) children.
UGH BBAD. I switched finally and fish on feeds, with BBAD on A/O. O's on top of A. Everyone else is outside. Will they or won't they? I'd love to see someone catch them in the act besides us, as in another HG.

I guess they may not be frozen just cold. Keesha didn't put them in water before putting them in the freezer.

GayTor - hehehe. I can't stop watching them tonight.. they're so funny.
Yes they are hilarious tonight Carolyn. But wind down and get some sleep. I can sleep all day tomorrow as usual so I just had a snowball and put a double shot of espresso in it.
(Snowballs are a WONDERFUL N'awlins creation, much like the rest of the world has snow cones, but the ice is shaved so much finer, almost margarita texture. YUMMY!)
This is my last night ... well maybe tomorrow... to stay up late and enjoy the computer. The rest of the week is early to bed, or to get there as soon as I can to be able to allow the back to recover for the next event.
